Absolutely impressive fishing . 30 kings this morning . Threw 23 back #dontneedthatmanyfish 20+ lb kings .. this was a nice homecoming to come back to Michigan too.. We have openings and lodging available. Give steelheadhunter a call to get in on this hot action

Here’s what’s going on.
The steelhead fishing in the big river has been going on pretty decent and actually getting better now with the colder temps.
Fish sizes in the 15-17 lb range , the biggest i heard on the river this year was 24 lbs.. So if its size your looking for come on up and lets go get one..
December is my favorite month, lots of fish and no one on the river. We will be running floats behind the boat. We also have the lodge open so easy place to crash the night before.
Also, it’s time to start thinking about your spring break plans. Islamorada, Florida is calling your name. Come down and do some fishing with me (Capt:Lance Keene) this spring (Jan 23-may 31) for some exciting saltwater action. Tarpon, snappers, snook, tuna and so much more. This is a must do trip. Steelhead season is in full swing , these baby’s are wild right now. The fish are nice sized too. We have openings , it’s only going to get better ..

This has been the week to be out in the lake. Lots of coho kings and lake trout .. looks like fall is on it’s way .. this is the time to start thinking about river trips …

Salmon fishing still going strong. Big fish this year . Getting some coho too. The lake looks really healthy with lots of bait fish.. the fish are dee so I expect them to be in the lake for a while … we have plenty of openings so give us a call
