Charter Request Form
In order to secure your reservation Steelhead Hunter requires a $150 deposit within 7 days for full-day and $100 for half-day trips. Once we receive your request we will email you a confirmation and you can send a deposit. Once your deposit has been received, you will be assured space for a specific date and destination. Once the trip is completed full payment will be collected of cash or check for the remaining balance.
Cancellation and Refunds Policies
If you need to cancel a reservation and receive a refund of your deposit/payment, we must be notified at least thirty days prior to the trip. Should you need to cancel with less than thirty days notice, we will make every effort to rebook your spot on that particular trip and refund your deposit/payment. However, if we are unable to find another client for your spot, we will not be able to return your deposit/payment and full payment will be required. Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions.
We hope that you understand the necessity for this policy to ensure that we can continue to run our guide trips on a sound financial basis. We realize that emergencies do happen, and please know we will make every effort to re-book your spot, but if we don’t, we must uphold this policy, even in the case of an emergency.

Dock Location
- Lake Michigan Charters: 304 River St (click for map)
- We are docked at 304 river st just west of U.S. 31 bridge on the south side of the Big Manistee River. We are located between hokansons camera shop andBloomers flower shop. You can park in-between buildings , walk down towards river you will see the STEELHEAD HUNTER
- parking can be next to the camera shop or across the street at the tire shop.
- On the Manistee River, charters depart from Rainbow Bend, Bear Creek, High Bridge, Insta Launch Camp Camp Grounds
What to bring?
- A Michigan fishing license ( one day license may be available on board)
You can also purchase a fishing license online (Click here) - Wear weather appropriate clothing. (dress in layers)
- Camera, sunglasses and sunscreen depending on the time of year
- Bring a cooler for your fish
- When on the Lake Michigan vessel wear soft sole shoes.
